I’m Robert Strohmeyer, an Oregon-licensed psilocybin facilitator. What that means is that I’m trained in legal and scientific frameworks for non-directive psychedelic experiences using psilocybin mushrooms.
Facilitation, Coaching, and Teaching
I offer psilocybin facilitation services to adults 21 and over in the state of Oregon. I work with a diverse array of clients from very different backgrounds and with a range of distinct needs and aspirations. I specialize in working with neurodiverse clients, particularly adults with ADHD, in enhancing self-acceptance and self-efficacy through psychedelic integration work. My approach is neuro-affirming, meaning I start from the position that your unique traits are aspects of your whole amazing self, and from that starting position I help my clients explore their inner dimensions with greater self-love and compassion.
Through workshops and coaching services at Integral Centering, I help people navigate complex (and often unexpected or undesired) life transitions to find new paths forward that feel true to self and authentic to inner values. For more on my services, see Services.
In addition to facilitation and coaching, I also teach Transpersonal Psychology and executive leadership at Sofia University. My courses emphasize the expansiveness and natural healing capacities of the self, and the value of authenticity and holistic practices for self-leadership, team leadership, and effective being in the world.
My Training
I hold a Master’s degree in transpersonal psychology with a concentration in spiritual psychology. My Master’s work centered on methods of aligning one’s daily life and work to their highest conceptions of self, creating a basis for what many spiritual traditions refer to as “right livelihood.”
I have been fortunate to participate in the first doctoral (PhD) cohort researching psychedelic science in the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University, immersively studying the latest advances in psychedelic research while also conducting original studies in the field. My dissertation studies associations between psychedelic experiences and psychological well-being in ADHD adults, which is a population currently under-examined in psychedelic science.
I received my psilocybin facilitation certification from Acadia Professional Learning in Portland, Oregon, one of the premier schools of psilocybin facilitation in the United States.
All together, my training enables me to bring a deep understanding of integral and transpersonal psychology alongside the practical skills and best practices to support my clients in unlocking their inner wisdom and healing in a safe and supportive healing environment.
My Research
I am a PhD-candidate researcher in Transpersonal Psychology with a concentration in Psychedelic Science at Sofia University. My dissertation study examines possible links between psychedelic experiences and enhanced psychological well-being in adults with ADHD.
